When I have a look at your clock I will be able to see what is needed ,every clock should be cleaned and oiled every 3 to 5 years to prevent wear . If a clock runs for many more years it is very likely that it needs an overhaul . Only clock oil should be used after a service or an overhaul and nothing else or after a wile it will stop for the oil will harden , also oil should never be placed on wheels for it will attract dust and clog up the works . Other clock parts need greasing like springs and lifting pieces . I have seen much damage done by inexperienced hands , and it is a shame to see it on a valuable Antique clock.
